A2 Levels are generally harder than AS Levels. They build on the knowledge you learn taking your AS papers. Many A2 Level papers also test on the content covered in the AS papers. For example, business studies A2 exams require you to recall knowledge from AS business studies.
Elementary (EF SET score 31-40)
English level A2 is the second level of English in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), a definition of different language levels written by the Council of Europe. In everyday speech, this level might be described as “basic” as in “I speak basic English”.

The second part is known as an A2 or A2 Level, which is generally more in-depth and academically rigorous than the AS. The AS and A2 marks are combined for a full A Level award. The A2 Level is not a qualification on its own, and must be accompanied with an AS Level in the same subject for certification.

If you don't fancy going back to school, you can enrol to retake your A Levels at a college or sixth-form. You'll still attend classes and have a set timetable like at school and when it comes time for the exam, you'll sit it at the college with your other classmates.
If you achieve a scale score of 120–139 (Pass, Pass with Merit) in your exam, you will receive the Key English Test certificate at Level A2. We believe it is important to recognise your achievement, even if you do not reach Level A2.
Which grade is good A1 or A2?
Cambridge English: A2 Flyers is the highest of three Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE) qualifications for children between the ages of four and twelve. This qualification shows that your child can understand simple English in everyday situations and can communicate in basic English.

SKILLS AT LEVEL A2
He/she can communicate in simple, everyday tasks requiring no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. He/she can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her past, environment and matters related to his/her immediate needs.
The first part is known as the Advanced Subsidiary level (AS level). The second part is known as the A2 level. The AS Level is a qualification in its own right, and the AS Level together with the A2 Level forms the complete A Level qualification.
As mentioned above, any grade below a 4 in the 9-1 grading system will be registered as a fail, so if you score 3 in a subject, then you will have to retake it to earn the qualification. Keep in mind that grades 3,2, and 1 are the equivalent of: D. E.

Instead of a 90% minimum for an A1 grade, 85% -89% for an A2 grade and 80%-84% for a B1, students will score a H1 for a 90% minimum and a H2 for 80%-89%.

It's no secret that A2 maths is a lot harder than AS maths. Whilst many students are shocked by the step up from GCSE to AS level, this shock can repeat itself when comparing AS level to A level. Numerous factors affect this difference in difficulty.
A pass in an AS subject is indicated by one of five grades A(a), B(b), C(c), D(d), E(e), of which grade A(a) is the highest and grade E (e) is the lowest. grade N indicates that the student's performance fell short of the standard required for grade E (e) by a narrow margin.
What is A2 Elementary?
The A2 level of English, called “Waystage” by the same CEFR, is the second level within the basic block. This level implies that the student masters communication in simple and everyday situations based on simple and direct exchanges of information on general topics.
A2 milk is an alternative to regular cow's milk. Emerging evidence from studies in preschool children and adults suggests A2 milk is less likely to be associated with digestive discomfort. Most cow's milk found in grocery stores contains two beta-casein proteins that are known as A1 and A2.
A2 is a 5% Chromium steel which provides high hardness after heat treatment with good dimensional stability. It is heat treatable and will offer a hardness in the range 57-62 HRC.

Resit the course at school, sixth form or college.
If you want to retake the course in the exact same way, you can enrol to resit at your school. If your school doesn't offer this option, then they should be able to advise you of local sixth forms or colleges that can accommodate you.
1 Answer. You can retake the CompTIA A+ certification exam if you like to because there is no restriction on the number of limits on the exam or the waiting period between exams. So, if you are not sure that you will pass the exam on 1st attempt, it's better to take the 2nd plan.
How is A2 key score calculated?
It is the average of the individual scores that you receive in each of the four skills. The overall score is calculated by adding all of the individual scores together, and dividing by four. A2 Key for Schools, formerly known as Cambridge English: Key for Schools (KET for Schools), is one of our Cambridge English Qualifications. It is an exam for school-age learners which will help prepare them for higher-level English language qualifications.

What does as and A2 stand for?
However, you may not be as familiar with the term AS-Level, and you may be wondering what it actually means. Both AS and A-Levels are further education qualifications. AS stands for Advanced Subsidiary and A stands for Advanced. An A-Level course is a two-year course and AS-Level forms the first year of the course.
You'll usually need to receive a letter grade between A and D to pass a class, often the numerical equivalent of 65 percent or higher. Receiving an F—which stands for “fail”—indicates that you did not pass the class.
It's also common for a child to skip second grade, moving from first into third. This single-year skipping keeps the student from feeling too distanced from their peers. Plus, they're more challenged by the curriculum without feeling overwhelmed.
2 – Low Pass, but certifying. 1 – Low Failure.
This is the lower division of a second-class degree. It is commonly known as a 2:2 or (2.2 degree) “Desmond” (as in Desmond “two-two”). A 2:2 degree is often the minimum grade required for most opportunities in employment and further education.
What is the A2-only route? The A2-only route allows candidates who have an AS Level school-assessed grade to complete their A Level as a staged route assessment. They do not need to sit the AS papers again, even though there are no AS Level marks that can be carried forward.
A 2:2 degree will exclude you from many graduate programmes, that's the harsh reality. But not them all, indeed some major employers in the retail space, in FMCG and even international graduate programmes in the public sector accept 2:2 graduates.
A Second Class Degree System
A student is said to have an upper second class degree when he graduates with a 2.1. With this grade, you stand a very high chance of employment into respectable offices. This is a minimum acceptable grade for some employers and institutions.

How long does it take to study A2?
To get from A1 to A2, it typically requires 100-150 hours of guided learning, but it can take 180-260 hours to get from B1 to B2.
